Well, another year has flown by and I have so much to be thankful for. I feel like a totally different person now. Because of Martin, I have more confidence and a better grasp of who I am and what I want out of life. How do you thank someone who has given you back your life?

My Story

I’m originally from Montreal. I began to be interested in personal training when working out for my first bodybuilding show. Friends, observing my progress and results, asked if I would help them reach their own health and fitness goals.

My Skillset

Discovering my passion for helping others lead healthy, active lifestyles, I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist.

I’m also certified in level one sport strength and sport balance twist conditioning. Oh, and I also have a black belt in karate.br

My Fitness Achievements

  • 2nd Master and Open Light Weight, 2013 Calgary Cup, International Natural Bodybuilding Federation (INBF)
  • 2nd Master and Open Light Weight, 2012 Vancouver Cup, INBF
  • 1st place in former Mr. Universe Lee Labrada’s Lean Body Challenge, 2008
  • 6th Master and 10th Open Light Weight, 2005 World Natural Bodybuilding Championship, New York
  • 2nd place Open Light Weight, Grand Cayman, INBF, 2004
  • 1st in the US Open Karate Championships, 1986; 4th in Canada, 1988
  • Total of 75 karate tournaments wins across North America

My Biggest Achievement

Beating cancer.

There’s no doubt in my mind that fitness and nutrition helped me beat the disease and regain my strength quickly after intense treatments.

My Fitness Philosophy

There’s no magic recipe to success in fitness. Commitment, consistency and common sense are the keys to reaching your weight loss, nutritional and fitness goals.

My Downtime

I enjoy being outdoors – playing street hockey, hiking, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing or camping.

I love being in the kitchen trying out new healthy gourmet recipes and sharing these with my clients.

My Community

As a trainer and coach, I have the privilege of meeting, working with and sharing daily with remarkable people. People from all walks of life, at different stages of their lives, with unique passions, interests and hobbies.

But a common thread unites us all – a desire to, either start living a healthier life or a commitment to continue living a healthy life.

Real, genuine interaction that contributes to shared learning a sense of fulfillment, achievement of goals and optimal results.

However, the outcome and the reward are more than achievement of goals. It’s the bonds and the relationships that are strengthened.

The point is, we’re not good by ourselves, but as a group we’re pretty amazing.

I understand what it takes to achieve and maintain fitness and nutritional goals. I give clients the tools that they need to stay the course and see results along with a healthy dose of motivation.
